Yes, you have heard the phrase "helps to regulate
blood glucose levels" about chromium and brewer's yeast.
This actually refers to its use with diabetics where regulating
their glucose actually means to LOWER their glucose.
Unfortunately it does not raise it when it is low.
In the March 2000 issue of Veterinary Medicine there is
a good article about Chromium and Vanadium. The article
is titled: Two transition metals show promise in treating diabetic
cats.
It has a list of 18 references of both human and animal articles.
