Margaret, I am not a vet, but I have had this happen with several ferrets on
several occassions, and it always turned out to be adrenal tumors, generally
the aggressive kind. One fairly easy/inexpensive "test" you could try is if
your vet uses Lupron try giving Tenaka a shot. If the agressive behavior
stops, then you have support for the adrenal theory. This has worked for me
with several animals. good luck!
