Subject: [Ferret-Health-list] Keeping Gerber Baby food out?

I personally don't think it wouldn't hurt the ferret if left
in the cage for 12 hrs but I don't think it will taste very
good... it will get a little crusty....I guess try it the
worst that would happen is they wont eat it... have back up
food just in case

Hi ~

Does anyone know how long the Gerber Baby food can be left
out before
it goes bad? I have to go into NYC one day a week, and my
fuzzies
are alone for about 12 hours. I am hand-feeding two of my
six the
Chicken baby food, and I was wondering if it can be left in
the cage
all those hours without being refrigerated.

Thanks ~

Lisa
