Dear Sandi:

Sebaceous epitheliomas are common benign skin tumors of ferret - hey
are the most common, actually. Complete surgical excision will
prevent recurrence, and is considered curative.

Some ferrets will develop additional tumors over time, in other
sites, but it is nothing to worry about.
