Could you take Rusty to the vet for a check up? He doesn't sound too
well, and I think a full exam is in order. You may have left out some
details, was his baldness from adrenal disease, and did he have surgery?
DId he have an x-ray or ultrsound to check out his "bad heart"?
If you can't get to a vet right away, can you take his rectal temp-
hypothermia is as bad, if not worse then running a fever. Until you can
get him to an emergency vet you may need to warm him up.
He may have felt warm to you because he didn't have much fur when you got
him. Does he have a full coat now?
Please keep us updated when you do get him checked out, I hope he is
going to be o.k.
