Does anyone know how long the Gerber Baby food can be left out before
it goes bad? I have to go into NYC one day a week, and my fuzzies
are alone for about 12 hours. I am hand-feeding two of my six the
Chicken baby food, and I was wondering if it can be left in the cage
all those hours without being refrigerated.

Thanks ~

Hi Lisa - I left a jar of Gerber's chicken baby food out on the counter
overnight not long ago and when I went to make morning mush for kits -
sniffed it and whew - it was turning. Unless your ferret eat most of it
within a few hours, not sure it would last 12 hours - maybe, maybe not. Is
there someone who could come in for you at least once to give fresh food?
