If she gets past her crisis then know that the meds for
cardiomyopathy have helped many ferrets live much longer and happier
than expected. Meltdown had a complication that could have killed
her at any point, but Bruce Williams convinced our vet to add Digoxin
to her routine and she lived over a year with cardiomyopathy, most of
it till the very last being good and happy time. Some can't do as
well as she did, some can do better for longer. In every case here
we have seen the meds make a very positive difference.
