Thin hair, with a bald patch - got to start thinking about adrenal
disease in a 4-year-old. While stress can result in hair loss, it is
fairly uncommon, and usually doesn't reult in descrete patches. I
think a search of the FHL archives on adrenal disease, and perhaps a
peek at http://www.afip.org/ferrets may be helpful. And, of course,
a good checkup from a ferret-savvy vet is the best way to make this
determination.
