I think that everyone who has a ferret should test - whether the ferret has
never been in contact with others, a regular at ferret shows, or in a ferret
shelter/breeder. In order to get a true picture of how prevalent ADV and
Aleutians disease is, we all need to test. Some of my kids are on their third
go-round. Any ferret that exhibits symptoms like ADV get tested - and almost
all here have been tested.
