I also tried Febreze and followed the instructions. I have a
difficult time
keeping him from digging on that spot now.

with pets and children. They recommend letting the spray
dry
completely before letting them (the pets or the kids) play
on it.

I use it here, and haven't had any indication of problems
...
I can't speak for the clorox product though.
