was wrong but when I went to grab him he jumped up and started
playing again. He repeated the action on a daily basis. None of my
others ever did this. Has anyone else had a ferret like this or is
it a sign of somethings wrong??

Our Balthazar is the same way -- and has always been that way. Of
course, early on I was concerned and had him checked out. He's now
about 3.5 years old. Although the other ferrets do the flat-ferret
thing, Bal just seems to do it more often. I think he gets bored
easily, and he knows I usually respond to him by initiating play. He
has me well trained.
