Subject: Re: [Ferret-Health-list] Re: Is this normal or a problem
sign???

Hello,

I took my fuzzies to the vet this morning. I have 1 out of 4 that
displays
this behavior. She is also a very docile ferret. I was concerned
because
she will play a little and they lay out with her head up. Sometimes
she will
resume playing or come over to me. She is also very sensitive to
things
around her. But, if one of the others see her and engage her she
will resume.

I asked my vet and see did not see any cause for concern. Nor did
she see a
reason for a blood test. She did look her over. She did gain one
ounce.
She is 8 months old. She has always been very calm.

I don't know if they may ease you some. They just stated that was
her
personality. If she stopped eating and drinking then that would be
cause of
concern. Or very different actions from normal. I spend approx. 16
hours a
day with them for 4 days a week then the hours decrease with my
part-time job
for the remaining 3 days.

I hope this helps you some.
