Subject: Blood tests on ferrets and the vaccine Imrab 3
This is a question for Dr.Williams.
Hi, here in Britain we are fighting the European decision to
ban ferrets from our Passport for Pets scheme. Their reasoning
behind this is that a) Ferrets aren''t pets ( WRONG!!)
B) the vaccine for ferrets against rabies has no proof that it
works and there is no approved blood test available.
We know about Imrab 3 but we need to have data about the
vaccination and blood test results to prove to the politicians
that they are wrong.
Can you help? We can deal with a), but the vaccine information
is crucial.
