There are 2 problems possible with partial albinos:
1) Waardenburg(-Klein) syndrome which causes deafness, and
2) Chediak-Higashi syndrome which causes a disorder of the
immune system. The Chediak-Higashi syndrome is why Aleutian
mink (a partial albino) are so prone to fatal Aleutian Disease.
So far Chediak-Higashi syndrome is not been seen in ferrets.
