Subject: Re: [Ferret-Health-list] Early Neutering = Adrenal

hi all :)

this is just a passing thought........

If ferrets have been and will probably be neutered early......

AND many folks have had great success using Timmy's Tonic and/or other
natural things.....

Wouldnt it be a good thing to be running tests to see if having ferrets on
Timmy's Tonic would be of great help?

I know it is going to be a while before we can get all the breader's to not
neuter so early. and again, it also could be the removal of the scent glands
to or just plain the surgery. i know all animals need to have certain
harmones. and i also know that taking away from mom's too early cause immune
problems.

the little ferrets need all the help they can get. i know it is better to
snip it off at the head, the breaders, but that may not be possible. but
finding a good remedy would be of great help.

I know that Bianca had enlarged glands above the shoulder and had a tad bit
of hair loss. i started her on Timmy's in water and i switched to a no corn
food. her fur is great, the glands are normal.

My dog fred is recovering from hip surgery. after some months his fur on
this butt was not growing back. I have started him on Timmy's and the fur is
comming back and he acts perkier.

just my 2ยข.

hugs to those who need them.

kathy. and Bianca
