Subject: Leukemia...Dr. Williams a question for you please
This evening the husband helped our ferret over the bridge. He wanted me to
know that her blood looked to be water. She had been so weak for over 1
week(white nose, gums and pad of paws, I knew she was in trouble) and today
she could not get in and out of her litter pan. She was recently bred and
was NOT left in heat but a few days before she was bred. Age 3 and her past
a good mother to a litter in 1999 and also 2000. Doc Williams does this
sound to be Aplastic Anemia, Amemia or Leukemia. Answers needed and
appreciated. It hurts to loose one as dear as this ferret. Never want this
to be repeated again. We seen this in a cat back in 1983, very weak and
blood like water when he was put down, made us wonder how he lasted as long
as he did in that shape.
