Hi Dr Willard
Many thanks for your email. I rang my friend and have the breakdown
of vitamins/minerals of all ingredients she gave her ferrets.
She fed her 8 ferrets this mixture daily for 10 weeks and they also
had raw meat during that period, no dry food.
Daily Mixture consisted of :
* .15ml Pentavite
* Cup of Pet Milk
* Squeeze of Nutripet high-energy vitamin concentrate (only 1 or 2
times a week)
* 2 egg yolks
* Cup of Baby Cereal
* 1 level teaspoon Brewers Yeast
PENTAVITE - each mL contains the following -
Rentinyl Palmitate equivalent Vit A 3600 IU 1.98mg; Vit B1 1.2mg;
Vit B2 2.5mg; Nicotinamide 15.8mg; Vit B5 640mcg; Vit B6 300mcg;
Vit C 95mg; Vit D3 22.5mcg.
PET MILK contains -
Vit A; Vit C; Vit B1; Vit B2; Niacin; Calcium; Phosphorus; Potassium;
Magnesium. (No amounts given on label.)
NUTRIPET - each 100g contains -
Vit A Palmitate 9.5mg; Vit D3 22.0mg; Vit E 100.0mg; Vit B1 67.0mg;
Vit B2 4.8mg; Vit B6 25.0mg; Vit B12 67.0mg; Nicotinamide 50.0mg;
Calcium Pantothenate 42.0mg; Folic Acid 4.0mg; Iron as Iron
Peptonized 8.5mg; Manganese as Manganese Sulphate 17.0mg; Magnesium
as Magnesium Sulphate 200.0mg; Iodine as Potassium iodine 8.5mg. (In a
palatable base of Fats, Proteins and Carbohydrates providing
approximately 1500 kilojoules of metabolizable energy.)
BABY CEREAL contains -
Vit C; Iron; Calcium; Phosphorus; Thiamin; Riboflavin; Niacin; Sodium;
Potassium. (No amounts given on lable.)
BREWERS YEAST - 1 level tablespoon (12.5g) contains the following -
Vit B1 1.25mg; Vit B2 0.5mg; Niacin 3.75mg; Phosphorus 300mg;
Potassium 275mg; Sodium 12.5mg; Magnesium 37.5mg; Calcium 37.5mg;
Iron 2.5mg.
