Subject: Re: [Ferret-Health-list] re: Coccidia in kits

Hi,

I work in a store that has had an incident over the past month. I
took 2
kits to the vet got medication. It's hard when you are dealing with
people
who only complain when you assist in your time and effort to get
pets taking
care of. The vet and I talked. I phoned MF. One kit had to get
Sub Q twice
in one day. Another heading the path. I assisted and took home.
They
worried about their petty cash being cut and me having the kit home
for care.
The vet was nice enough to see the last one for free. Once the
kits were
able to have their own area. I went to work and they were combined
with the
ones without coccidia. I am talking with MF about the situation that
I have
had with the store and keeping the areas clean as far water, food,
and
corners. After 3 days of dealing with MF, they are now contacting
the
store. I only work 3 days a week. I try to stay out on my off
time. If I
drop by. Usually, things are not taking care off. If my last day
of work is
Sunday evening. They figure I cleaned them good so they do not have
to do
Monday morning. There is no guarantee that the food will be changed
or water
for that fact. It makes me mad. I talk until I am blue in the
face. Or
about to say ugly things. I am sorry for ranting. I just get upset
because
things are not done correctly. Over an extended period of time.

Hopefully, MF will call them and speak to them about the welfare of
the kits.
They asked for the information to contact the store.

Thank you for listening,
