Yes I have used Epogen on ferrets. Actually used it on my own
female that was anemic from liver cancer (hemangiosarcoma).
I have not seen nausea with it in ferrets or in cats. I would try
it
once again. As to the cause of anemia, it is time to do some
bloodwork to find out what is causing it. One possibility is the
adrenal tumor on the right side is overproducing estrogen which
is suppressing the bone marrow. This is causing him to not make
enough
red blood cells. Unfortunately Epogen does not work well for
estrogen toxicity. If it is from the adrenal tumor then it is time
to remove the adrenal gland or to use Lupron to control it.
