Glenn, what sorts of symptoms are you seeing? If there is only fur
loss are you sure that the cause is adrenal? I realize that it is
not the common cause, but we did have one who looked adrenal yet who
had perfect adrenals on necropsy and pathology. (Death was from
advanced hypertrophic cardiomyopathy which had been treated.) In her
case her fur loss may simply have been age-related, though it might
also have been due to the stress of her heart illness. There can
also be cases in which the cause is due to an adrenal growth, but the
fur follicles die off and can not re-grow fur. Then surgery can cure
but baldness remains. That also is not very common here, but
certainly can occur as our Ashling will attest. (She had bilateral
surgery quite rapidly, but either her acute symptoms were after a
longer time of silent growth or she really did develop her two
growths very fast and furiously.)
