Subject: [Ferret-Health-list] New to the list

Dear Andz:

Forget the ferretone...it has preservatives. Instead go to the health store and get flax seed oil...give 1 teaspoon once a day per ferret. In two months you will have the most beautiful, fluffy ferrets you ever saw.
You will note that ferretone has to be refrigerated and that is because it has preservatives in it. This is bad for ferrets. Flax see oil has no preservatives and so it must be kept in the fridge.
A healthy alternative and gives them the essential fatty acids (EFA).

Hi,
My name is Andz and we are owned by one ferret named Rocket.
We have had him for almost 6 months and we are still learning
from him. He is our first ferret(actually my daughter's).

I have a couple of ?'s. At what age are they considered adult and
how much ferretone should I be giving him each day, I am giving
him 1 tsp is this enough or too much?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Andz & Rocket
