You can just take a regular man's tube sock and
fill it with rice. Tie a knot in the end. Heat
in the microwave for a couple of minutes. It will
stay warm for hours. I keep these in my car and
my office so I will be ready for wildlife baby
pick-ups at any time.
If you want to get fancy, you can actually sew a
pouch for the rice. I have found that, after a
while, the rice gets buggy so I prefer something
where I can dump and start over. I have started
putting a bay leaf in the rice to help repel bugs.
