Keep up with the vaccinations. I do give my 4 ferrets heartworm
preventive
every month. The vet reccommended (after research since I was the
first for
them) Heartguard for cats up to 5 lbs. I give them each one pill.
Three of
them think its another treat, and one I do have to cut it up and
help him eat
it. I also in the flea months give them Top Spot for cats. I use one
capsule
for all four once a month. I do the two meds at different times,
heartworm on
the 1st and the flea on the 15th of the month. I would say feed
them quality
food, keep up with vet checkups, lots of play time, and lots of
love. Good
luck.
