Subject: vaccine question for the vets please
My vet prefers to give vaccinations in the scruff because she feels that
injections given in the muscle have more chance of a reaction than those
injected under the skin.
I have read that there is less of a chance of a reaction if vaccines are
given in the hind leg, instead of in the scruff. When given in the hind leg,
is the injection given S.C. or I.M?
