Subject: Buddy sez "thanks"
Thank you everyone that responded about my itchy, skinny, ferretboy.
Apparently he was going through his first year spring shed and this
was a hard time for him. I didn't know shedding could be so rough,
the weight loss, the itching etc.....BUT!.... I also think I was
conned by a sneaky ferret........I believe the thinking on his part
was something like this:
"...if I don't eat my kibble, Jayson gets all worried and hand feeds
me and pays lots of attention to me........this could work out good
for me...." "but I think the playing and ankle biting and silliness
might have given me away, I should have acted more like I was really,
really sick...BUSTED!!..."
Things are much better here. We are still looking at that itchy spot
as a possible mast cell tumor, but it is very tiny right now and we
want to make sure that's what it is before we take action.
