Subject: Ferret Dragging Bum?
I just noticed lately that my ferret, Tycho has been dragging his bum
after every time he goes poop. He's 11 months old, and I don't
remember him doing it before, so I picked him up and looked at his
rectum. I've heard a bit about "prolapsed rectums" and how they
look. Tycho's rectum is sticking out about a quarter of an inch, and
is a little bit red. What should a normal rectum look like, and what
kind of things can I do to help him if it is prolapsed?
