Hey Bonnie, I don't know if there is a specific contraindication, but I do
know that some ferrets I've had who had severe earmites got pretty sick from
the Ivermectin. If it was me I would put off the boosters until after the
Ivermectin treatments. Also, I personally have had better luck using the
ivermectin directly into the ear instead of by injection. And it has always
taken a couple treatments to knock the $%^^&&&** things out. My latest plan
that seems to work pretty well is to kill them with Ivermectin, and then
keep them under control by drowning the suckers with baby oil every 2 weeks
or so....
