Subject: surgery preparations

Hi everyone -

I just have a quick question. My auction
rescue girl is going in for surgery Tuesday
morning and I'm wondering how many hours I
should keep her from eating and if she should
have water.

Basically - what would be the best time-frames
and procedures to follow before a surgery?
