Peanuts & nuts in general are a potential cause of intestinal
blockage in ferrets. A friend's ferret got blocked by a piece of a
peanut in chunky peanut butter several years ago. The peanut butter
crunch treat by 8 in 1 has peanut butter chips in it. They are soft.
If you want to give your ferret a peanutty treat, try a *little* bit
of smooth peanut butter (no sugar added, if you can get it). Candy in
general is not a good idea for ferrets.
