Well I have had several ferrets who enjoy peanuts. I only had trouble with
one of them though.
Miss Pookie somehow got a bag of roasted peanuts off the counter (I think
she enlisted the cats for help).
She then proceeded to gobble most of said nuts.
The problem here was she DID NOT chew them. She ended up getting blocked and
got several enemas at the vet's to alleviate the situation. they came out in
rather large chunks, a couple whole.
let me tell you, fermented peanuts from the hind end of a ferret are
extremely foul smelling.
Since then, I have forgone buying myself roasted peanuts. sigh.
