Can anyone tell me if peanut brittle is OK for ferrets? This
is peanuts in a candy coating. I know there is peanut butter
crunch by 8 in 1 and my ferret used to love it but here in the
UK, Customs decided to ban it. Its the peanuts I'm worried
about in case of allergies.

Hmmm, it is mostly sugar- not great for ferrets or people.
Sticky, and probably not great for teeth, I doubt the
ingredients will harm the ferret, just thinking it isn't a
good treat. With so many other things to offer, I would play
it safe and stick with cheerios,small piece of fruit, meat,
or raisin (small part). I actually don't like giving my guys
anything too sweet, or fruit/veggies. My favorite are just
small bit of liver bites, or pounce tartar control for cats,
one piece of dog food kibble. I personally only give treats
once a day, or even every other day. I am going to try the
pig ears the way Bob C. suggested to prepare them and see how
it goes.

p.s. I would trust your instinct, if you are unsure about it,
why give it?
