Subject: Can ferrets get worms?
Hi
It so happens that a few ferret lists that I'm on are discussing worms at
the moment. One list said that ferrets can't get worms at all and people
got this information from some vets. Then I'm on another list and they seem
to think that ferrets can get worms and somebody treats her ferrets with
garlic??? She gives 2 cloves of garlic to 2 ferrets daily, this is against
fleas and ticks... For worms she gives the ferrets half of a small bulb (or
whatever) of garlic every day for 3 weeks. Squashed and sweetened with
honey... I'd love to get some feedback on this, I'm sure that the amount of
garlic is bad and does it really get rid of worms and does it repel fleas
and ticks?
