Is that the same as Gentamycin and Gentamicin??? Since these both
have different spellings, I don't know if they are the same drug.

I remembered this link from LIFE about gentamycin.

Ferrets, Rabbits, and Rodents on page 394 has gentamicin listed with
the qualifier "Some veterinarians believe that ferrets are
particularly susceptible to the toxic effects of gentamicin and that
its use should be avoided in this species."

I use Anusol HC-1 per my vets direction.
