Dear Donna:

The proper dosage for amoxicillin is 10-20 mg/lb in a ferret. 250 mg
would constitute a significant overdosage. At the typical
concentration of 50 mg/ml - your dose would actually be 5cc which is
ten times the required amount.

You may want to recheck your figures on this one.
