How about this for an answer about peanut brittle: $700 surgery to remove
peanuts stuck in the intestine. We also facilitated the removal of a
pistachio and a cherry pit (in two other ferrets). It is good to think
veeeeeery carefully about what you put into your ferret, or allow it to put
into itself. At the very least, surgery is not a fun thing for a ferret.
Raisins make a nice, wholesome treat. In moderation , of course.
