I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Tracy Ritzman at Angell Memorial Animal
Hospital, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130, tel. 617.522.7282.
My ferrets and I have been seeing Dr. Ritzman for close to three years now,
and I have the utmost respect for her knowledge and professionalism. She
also really listens to owners and is very pleased when owners do their own
research (she was tickled when I identified Amelia's enlarged spleen). I
just can't say enough good things about her! I have had some emergency room
experience with the other exotics vets there and have had good experiences
with them as well. Fees at Angell are slightly on the high side, but on the
other hand, you are getting every penny of what you are paying for, and then
some.
