Subject: UTIs and adrenals

Yes, I concur -- and you can tell who is lacking in sleep around here
:-) -- UTIs certainly can indicate adrenal growths, and resultant
prostate problems in ferrets are serious but tend to respond
beautifully to having the bad adrenal(s) removed.

For safety's sake I'd still be inclined toward doing a urine culture,
as well. My reasoning behind that is this: in case there actually
is an antibiotic resistant infection it would be terrible to have it
flare after surgery.
