Subject: question on Lymphosarcoma

I looked at the archives and was not able to find the answer to my
question. Simba had his spleen removed since it was extremely
enlarged and I have posted that online before. The pathology on the
spleen showed that it was extramedullary hematopoiesis. But, they
found a small nodule adjacent to the pancreatic flexure. The
pathology came back as lymphsarcoma. The pathology said it was
several small nodules which were made up off small to medium sized
neoplastic lymphocytes, no mitotic figures were detected and some
recent hemorage was found.

There was no blood test since they could not remove any blood.

My question is, what are the chances that they got all of the
lymphosarcoma? He is doing great, gaining weight, and growing his
hair back. Should I wait to see if he starts losing weight or try
and get some blood work done once he's healthy again? I am not sure
what the next action should be...

Thanks, Judi
