Subject: [Ferret-Health-list] Re: Vacine Question
It's been about a year or more for all of my ferrets. The one that I have
had tested was a negative, but I have one boy with some high things on his
blood panel. My new vet went over the panel with me last week, as 2 of the
high ones are consistant with ADV, but he isn't sick. He has been a laid
back boy since I bought him as a kit from a MI breeder. He goes in tomorrow
for a regular blood test to see what it can tell us. From there I will
probably asked to have him tested for ADV.
Thanks
Millie

How long ago was the vaccination? Some tests do have false
positives, but the saliva test from Avecon is not supposed to give
false positives.False negatives on the other hand, you may get.
