Sorry for the delay in this reply, Dr. Murray. We threw a big get-
together this past weekend (11 people!) and I did all the cooking and
cleaning the whole weekend. Oi! Catering for 11 people is much harder
than caring for 11 ferrets by a long shot. :) I'm just now catching
up on the FHL.

Thank you for this information. I had not really thought to try a
higher protein food without the chicken or wheat. I had understood
the problem as being the result of the normal ferret foods being too
rich. I will do a test with these other foods to see if that is the
case. I assume the Hill's diet is available through my vet. Is the
Eukanuba a vet-only product or is there another source for this food?
