Hi
My ferret Bella broke her lower right canine tooth a few months back, it was
loose but not loose enough to just pull out so I took her to the vets and my
vet clipped it off (under anaesthetic) and then filed it down and she said
she hopes that the gum will grow over it. She didn't want to pull it out
because it can be dangerous... I meant to write in about this, ask whether
Bella was likely to be in pain and whether this treatment was alright.
Bella seemed just fine and is still okay. I'd also noticed that Baby's
tooth broke off and I had no idea, the lower right canine tooth was just
gone! Again Baby didn't seem to mind... And no, I don't know how they've
done it... :-(
