Subject: food/fur loss
Last night my friend Rebecca called. She has had ferrets for 12 plus years
and I concider her a good ferret momma. Her boy Bumper age 6 had lost all of
his fur except on his head. Has been like this for 6 plus months. Test shown
one very, very tiny spot on the adrenal gland. No surgery done but one thing
changed in the little fellows life. He didn't want his ferret food anymore
(TF) and refused to eat it, had been his favorite for 4 plus years. She
started giving him another food and now he has a lovely coat of dark shinny
fur. Fur grew back quickly. Needless to say Rebecca is so happy. Debora
