Subject: Red Vulva
Tish, who I've spoken about a few times on here before, has
lymphosarcoma and is coming near her end. Her hind legs are
weakening and today when I was feeding her I noticed she had dried
feces on her hindquarters and vulva. When I tried cleaning her up
with a warm dishrag, she of course pitched a fit, and I noticed that
her vulva is slightly swollen and has a couple of blood red spots on
it. It does not seem to be bleeding though. Is it just irritated
from the feces? Or does she possibly have a urinary infection? She
has been eating ground kibble and clinicare with water mixture for a
little while. Don't know if that would have any effect on her
urinary system.
