hi all :)
when i lived out in the woods, in an old 1908 house, air conditioning was not
an option.
on the hotest days, i kept Zelda in the cage, on ground floor in coolest part
of the house when i was gone at work with a small fan blowing into the cage.
When we went camping or driving for long distances, i kept a freezer baggie
with a few ice cubes, wrapped in a small towel in her bed. she loved this.
I am not too sure of the blue ice stuff, as it can be poisonous if it leaks
or gets chewed on or scratched through. do not get the baggie blue ice
stuff. make sure it is the plastic stuff and check throughly every day for
leakage. yes they can leak. i have had several over the years that did.
