My experience is that, at least for the last 2 years,
they only run the adrenal panels once a month. I
think the reason why is that it must be done in
batches and that they only get enough tests in to do
them once a month. Unless it's a male ferret with a
prostate problem, I don't know that a month would make
all that much difference. I suspect your veterinarian
didn't know how frequently they ran the tests, or when
they did so. Same thing happened to me. Frustrating,
but it's the most precise exam, and it can be a
valuable tool in borderline cases.
