Hi Angela,
Regardless of the ferret's age you should have your
ferret's eyes checked. Juvenile cataracts can be either
congenital or hereditary in origin. Cataracts in adults can
be a sign of an insulinoma. It is time to find out if the ferret
has cataracts, time to check for causes of the cataracts, and
time to talk about cataract surgery.
