A blockage is a distinct possibility. Legumes, nuts, carrots, latex,
rubber, rawhide, and some other things have certainly killed way too
many ferrets. If there is a blockage it might pass, but a person
can't safely wait a long time with blockages and rapid surgery is
very often the only solution.
