Subject: fanning ferrets.
Hi All, although ferrets do not sweat, a fan does help them to keep
cooler. A ferret just laid in one place will heat the air around it
and have to pant harder to keep it's temperature down. Just try
putting the fan on the floor on a hot day and watch the dogs/
ferrets/cats migrate to the moving air. The other thing I use as
I have wooden floors is a slab of marble but a paving slab
takes a long time to heat up.
