Subject: Stinky ears

Sukie suggested that more info would be helpful. Thanks
Sukie.

Rascal was given Panalog with each infection, cleared it up
quickly. A culture was done and I was told it was a yeast
infection.

The mite treatment he received recently was OttomitePlus, he
has also been given Ivermectin. He has had his ears checked
regularly with no evidence of mites.

He does get yancy about having his ears cleaned. I'm not sure
if it's due to pain, or due to me messing with his ears when
they did hurt. His ears are a little pink (he's a silver
mitt) but not red. Geez I hate mysteries!

Hi folks. I have a 4 year old Path Valley male who's ears
always stink. I generally clean the every two to three weeks.
I have tried doing it weekly, however the smell persists.
This has been going on for years. I use Sheppard and Green
ear cleaner and about 8 to 10 Qtips each cleaning. His ears
are usually very, very dirty. He has been treated for mites
and has had three ear infections over the last two years.

Any ideas?
