Subject: Vomiting or regurgitating?
One of my ferrets has been vomiting occasionally...maybe every few
weeks.
The reason I'm writing is because the last couple of times there has
been an
odor to it (like when a person vomits). I've never seen this before
with any
of my other ferrets. Several have vomited on occasion and Cara Mia
did every
few weeks with her liver problem...but there was never any odor.
I've read
that ferrets regurgitate more often than actually vomit. What is
the
difference and is there some specific cause when there is a sour
odor? The
ferret that has been vomiting is one that I suspect has Aleutian
disease.
